PICUAL VARIETY

The olive oils made with the “picual” (that is an olive cultivar) have special chemical characteristics. Since this variety is very high in oleic acid, also it has antioxidant effects (having high levels of polyphenols) and vitamin E (tocopherols) all these contribute to a high stability, durability and constancy in low and high temperatures.
Our varietal “Picual” is cultivated in the highest mountains from the southern part of Jaén Providence and profits therefore from the unique climatological conditions and the altitude that make posible this special taste composition.
