The olive grove and the P.D.O.
From my window,
in the bright moon!
Mountains of Cazorla,
Aznaitín and Mágina!
The place where our TellusMagna olive oil is grown belongs to the region of Sierra Mágina enclosed with olive grove, this region is remarkable because it has been used as inspiration for the Spanish writer Antonio Machado’s verses.
One of the most impressive peaks that dominates the Valley of Guadalquivir is the Aznaitín, this is a part of Protected Designation of Origen for olive oil Sierra Mágina – P.D.O.
Protected Designation of Origin for olive oil from the Natural Park of Sierra Mágina is namely regulation of quality and geographical origin among Spain’s finest producers – recognised by the European Union. This geographical situation and climatological conditions help to contribute to achieve an excepcional and select olive oil.
Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) is the mark of recognition to the quality and the origin of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil. TellusMagna under the strict control of the P.D.O. Sierra Mágina, protects, credited, and can differentiate our oils.
